
Natasha Kochicheril Moni is the author of The Cardiologist's Daughter (Two Sylvias Press, 2014), Lay Down Your Fleece (Shirt Pocket Press, 2017), Nearly (dancing girl press, 2018), and A Nation (Imagined) (Floating Bridge Press chapbook contest winner, 2018.) Natasha's writing has been published in 65 journals, magazines, and anthologies including, The Rumpus, Entropy (Best of 2017 Essays), DIAGRAM, and Magma. Finalist for prizes such as the Jack Grapes Poetry Prize, Best
of the Net, and the Vincent Chin Memorial Prize, Natasha has enjoyed being a Summer Visiting Artist at Mineral School, Jack Straw Writing Fellow, and a Hedgebrook resident.
In her 20 years of West Coast living, Natasha has immersed herself in
the literary scene by editing a small journal, creating and hosting a spoken word venue, interning at Small Press Distribution Books, participating on literary grant and fellowship panels, and acting as a judge for a chapbook competition.
As a professional writer and editor, Natasha's clients have varied from a small housing resources board on Bainbridge Island, WA to the Alan Watts Mountain Center in Point Reyes, CA to an online natural health company, where she currently writes
in-house medical briefs. As a doctor and writer, Natasha loves distilling complex scientific and medical ease into accurate and comprehensible content.
